You Are Unstoppable

“The Olympics remain the most compelling search for excellence that exists in sport, and maybe in life itself,” remarks Australian swimmer Dawn Fraser. Half way into the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics, the world has been captivated by the search for excellence, courage and stamina of the competing athletes.  What can Nashville learn from them?  A career in the music business that reflects heart and enjoys longevity takes time.  When the days get long and the journey seems pointless – you have to remember why you started in the first place.  When you face a dry spell, remember that all efforts of worth and excellence are difficult and require stamina.  Motivational speaker Les Brown says,  “Life takes on meaning when you become motivated, set goals and charge after them in an unstoppable manner.”

One group that is definitely charging after goals is Lyric Street Recording Artists Rascal Flatts.  They have a proven track record that anything worth doing is worth going at with all of your heart.  Since coming onto the scene in 1999, they have transformed country music into a more accessible genre – making country music appear charts and radio stations that would have never featured “country” music.”  Their most recent project, Unstoppable, “…is the best group of songs we’ve ever had,” says Joe Don.  In honor of the Olympics, they have recently released an audio and video remix of the title track to this project…

CHORUS (Olympic version)
You find your faith that’s been lost and shaken
Here’s your chance and it’s worth taking
Get on your knees and dig down deep
You can do what you think is impossible
Keep on believing, don’t give in
You’ve got the strength to race the wind
Remember what one dream can do
You are unstoppable
