“On the road again, just can’t wait to get on the road again…”  With radio plays and unit sales down, artists are earning their frequent flier miles on the ground with arduous touring schedules maintaining the pulse of the music business.

The top musical money makers of 2011 were recently announced by Billboard Music and Taylor Swift was the only Country Music Artist to make the top ten, congrats Taylor.  Recently Tawny Tucker pointed out that Taylor came in at no. 6 with $20,730,431 earned last year. With the October release of her third album “Speak Now,” which topped sales of 1 million units in its first week, she successfully managed to have the biggest debut ever for a studio album by a country artist.
